OUR HISTORY

Peter Wood founded Caseco in 1995, drawing on his vast sourcing experience in the gift industry, particularly in the area of sourcing and product design. Caseco started with a few well-considered spectacle cases designed for discerning consumers and the quality optician’s who serve them.

Starting out from his garage and harnessing his passion for design and attention to detail, Peter grew the business steadily. In 1997, Julian Clarke joined as the first sales representative covering the majority of the UK and Republic of Ireland.

In early 2020, as Peter stepped back from executive duties due to ill health, Julian re-joined the business following 8 years in international commercial leadership mainly for British high-end independent eyewear businesses.

Now occupying a carbon-neutral office in Oxfordshire, Caseco serves more than 700 opticians and non-optical businesses (jewellers, retailers, heritage sites, luxury businesses and musical instrument manufacturers) across the UK and further afield.

Caseco provides a unique personalised service, and offer a generous variety of colour, materials and print styles across many different accessories, allowing versatile and complete customisation at low minimum order quantities.
